Update for 2020

After much discussion, the Rocky Ripple Community Association has decided to cancel the 2020 Rocky Ripple Festival due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we do not feel we can safely and effectively host the festival in our community at this time.

We are exploring other options to showcase our community of artists. If you have ideas for reimagining our festival for this year, we would love to hear from you.

We look forward to bringing together all of our artists and musicians, vendors and volunteers, and attendees and neighbors in 2021!

The Rocky Ripple Festival of the Arts is held in a unique Indianapolis midtown neighborhood just across the Central Canal from Butler University. The annual event is staged entirely through volunteer efforts from the community, with all proceeds going to the Rocky Ripple Parks Endowment Fund.

Each year, an eclectic set of bands play throughout the day. Over 80 artists bring their unique items for sale. Beer and wine are provided by the Broad Ripple Brewpub. And a variety of food offerings are available from local vendors.

All at a family friendly admission price - FREE!

Volunteer Opportunities
We need your help! Volunteers to assist at the Rocky Ripple Festival are always needed. Volunteers work shifts at the RRCA information booth, children's area, recycling, and assist with the artist area. We also need setup and take-down assistance. Please contact Dhyana Raynor at dhyanar@sbcglobal.net to offer your help and for more information.
