Greetings to all Artists and Artisans. You are invited to participate in the 2018 Rocky Ripple Festival of the Arts for a full day of art, music, and food in a unique Indianapolis north side neighborhood.
This popular festival is held in Rocky Ripple Hohlt Park, 840 W. 53rd St. (across the Canal near Butler University). The Festival is free to the public.
The intent of the Rocky Ripple Festival is to showcase arts and crafts produced by artisans from the Indiana region. This is not a juried show, but the Rocky Ripple Community Association reserves the right to exclude any exhibit the committee feels is not appropriate for our venue and will generally reject work not designed and produced by the exhibitor. In the interest of media variety, no one media will be represented by more than 30% of the exhibits. In the past, only the jewelry category has ever exceeded the quota. The 30% quota will be filled on a first come basis. Any artist excluded because of a filled quota may elect to be placed on the wait list.
Guideline for artists:
Early bird registration fee for a 10’ by 10’ individual space is $60.00 until June 30th. Cost thereafter is $80.00.
Early bird registration for shared 10’ by 10’ booth is $80.00 until June 30th. Cost thereafter is $100.00
Exhibitors must provide their own display tents are these are the responsibility of the vendor.
Tables are available to rent for $10.00 each. Supplies are limited.
Between seventy to eighty 10’x10’ booth spaces will be available.
Note to artists sharing a booth space: Artists may share booths but must apply individually. If you will be sharing a booth space with one or more artists the shared booth space cost will total $80.00 if postmarked by June 30th or $100.00 if postmarked after June 30th. Each artist planning to share one booth space must fill out their own copy of the “Exhibitor Application Form”. Please use the form marked Shared Booth. Please be sure to include the names of all other exhibitors with whom you will be sharing a space. Each artist should describe only their own artwork on their application. You may combine the shared booth cost and send one check or divide the total amount and send separate checks. Please mark your check memo “Shared Booth” It will be very helpful if you can send all of the application material in one envelope.
